-- a year of brutal transformation and learning that the reason why I can never find myself is that I am continuously outgrowing myself. The tears, the pain, the loneliness make the good stuff all the more special. While I learned how pointless life is, I also learned to appreciate the stillness. From Metamorphosis, I learned that you can dedicate your entire life to what you think is right and what you believe in, but it means fucking nothing if you never do anything for yourself. The reason why in airplanes you have to put the mask on first is the same as why you have to learn to love yourself first; how can you help someone else if you’re dead?
